if for some reason you just stumbled across this lil blog and you don't know me, let me introduce myself.

i'm melissa, the founder, creator, and editor of bymelissajay, a blog focusing on fashion, lifestyle and all other things related to the hot mess that is my life.  bmj was born in 2020, when at the ripe old age of 24, found myself a little bit creatively stifled by the rabbit hole that is the corporate world. 

I won't claim that this blog is anything groundbreaking, but the goal is just to share things I like and hopefully it will be either entertaining or helpful to someone, somewhere.
